Controlling social media for me is less about the mental and psychological impact (although there is much research to indicate that the impact is indeed very negative) and more about the spiritual impact it has on our lives.
I began to look at it through the lens of Jesus’ parable of the sower in Matthew 13 and realized that I had allowed my heart to become a hardened path of media traffic each day.
