The internet has changed so much this past year.

I lost 3/4 of my income overnight—literally. One fine spring day in March, everything was as it always was.

The next day my traffic was down 75%. 

I thought it was a glitch, or my website had gone down – or something. But what I’d later discover was that Google had implemented changes that affected all websites, large and small. 

Some of the biggest websites lost nearly all of their traffic and have never gained it back.

And I haven’t either.

I honestly think people consume content differently now than before.

I know I do.

I don’t spend as much time reading blog posts. I just spend it differently than before, and I suspect you do as well.

I am always trying to get the pulse of my readers, because I want to be where you are.

I want to serve you content in a way you actually consume it, if I can.

It would be silly for me to be yelling into emptiness when all it would take for me is to turn around and speak to you directly.
