There is something so fall-ish about a warm bowl of oatmeal. Especially when it’s got some yummy flavors and spices.

I wont lie, this was one thing I kind of struggled with when I decided to go Keto.

That is, until I found out about “noatmeal”.

I tried several different versions of it, until I landed on the one that kept me coming back for more!

No-Grain {Fake} Noatmeal {with variations)

This No-Grain {Fake} Noatmeal is cram-packed with nutrients: from healthy fats to essential vitamins.

No-Grain {Fake} Nutty Oatmeal {with variations)

No-Grain {Fake} Nutty Oatmeal {with variations)
Prep Time 2 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 7 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c Heavy cream
  • 1/4 c water
  • 2Tbsp flax seed meal
  • 2Tbsp chia seeds
  • 2Tbsp Unsweetened coconut flakes
  • A handful of walnuts or almond
  • Pinch salt
  • 2 drops Stevia

Instructions

Combine these in a saucepan and cook over medium heat stirring constantly until the fake oatmeal thickens.

Pour into bowl, drizzle a bit more heavy cream, sprinkle on some frozen or fresh berries, and top with butter.

Variations:

Add spices:

Cinnamon

Nutmeg

Cloves

Add "fruit":

When boiling the fake oatmeal, add small chunks of zucchini, and add apple pie spice to make a cinnamon and apple fake oatmeal.

Top with frozen berries and extra heavy whipping cream for a berries and cream fake oatmeal.

Add extracts:

Pumpkin Spice

Maple

Ingredients:

1/4 c Heavy cream

1/4 c water

2Tbsp flax seed meal

2Tbsp chia seeds

2Tbsp Unsweetened coconut flakes

A handful of walnuts or almond

2 drops Stevia
