It is that time of the year…hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping, sparkly and impressive household decors, Christmas music , wrapping presents , parties here and there and the food. It takes a lot of courage and self control to not gain weight during this season. We personally do not enforce a strict meal planning during Christmas but we try to make a healthier version of our favorite recipes. You can always substitute and play with the ingredients if possible. Check out Healthy and Allergy Free Baking Substitute ( with Free Printable). It is also frugal and healthier to make your own pantry staples and mixes. You can check 9 Pantry Staples That You Can Make at Home , it comes with a free printable too.
I also love using 21 Day Fix Seasonings! It is clean eating and it gives a whole lot of flavor. I make at least a couple of batches /serving and store them in mason jars. These Clean eating turkey meatballs are perfect for appetizers or serve it as a main course! I love having them with a bowl of salad. Our girls love them in spaghetti and teriyaki over rice. And before I proceed with the recipe …I wish you all a Merry and Blissful Christmas!
2 lbs Ground Turkey , I used Fit N Active Lean Ground Turkey from Aldi
2 tsp each of Salt , Parsley, Garlic Powder or use 2 tbsp 21 Day Fix All Purpose Seasoning
1 egg, beaten
2 Cups Rolled Oats
4 tbsp Tomato Sauce, no salt added
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Coat baking sheet with non stick spray.
Mix all the ingredients. Roll into 1 – 2 inches balls and place them on the sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until cook through.
Let it cool and store in air tight container. You can use this for spaghetti meatballs , Crockpot Hawaiian Meatballs or sweet and sour meatballs.
