The end of another year is drawing to a close.

The only place we will find peace is in our relationship with the Lord. Often we don’t have time, it’s not convenient (because our kids are yelling, “Mom! Mom!) or we have to take that call, or we got a message we HAVE to answer…

There are so many different situations….

Especially now, just before Christmas.

Towards the end of the year, during the Advent season, as Good Morning Girls we begin our Advent study where each weekday we read a passage from the Bible.

This helps us to focus on God, directing our hearts toward Jesus with intention, to express our gratitude, love, and need for Him.

This year, we decided to do something a bit different.

Countdown to Christmas

Each day (Monday through Sunday), we’ll read one chapter from the Gospel of Luke, getting to know our Savior better—who He is, how and why He came to Earth, and coming to know Him who, through His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, dwells in us, in our hearts.

We are reading from December 1-24.
