Are you feeling like the enemy is attacking you all the time?
With fear
Worry
Your past
In 1 Samuel 30:6, we read:
“But David encouraged Himself in the Lord his God.”
David didn’t wait for a friend to encourage him…
He didn’t wait for his pastor to encourage him.
He didn’t go to YouTube and try to find an encouraging sermon…
He encouraged Himself in the Lord!
How did David encourage himself in the Lord? He recalled all of the great things that God had done.
And this is what we must do in those times when we feel run down, discouraged, and hurt. We need to take the Bible and encourage ourselves by reading about all the great things God has done.
Honestly, we need to do this every day.
Because of we want to encourage others, we need to be encouraged each and everyday.
A heart full of encouragement will have an impact on others.
If we want to have a good day every day, we need to do this each morning:
Take the Word of God
Fill our heart with it
Meditate on it
Shape our lives around it
When we do these 4 things each morning, we will have a good morning every day!
