2017 is coming to a close in just two short weeks.
I’ll never forget a post I read once by Courtney from Women Living Well on sharpening your axe. She was talking about how she felt dull and tired, and needed a break away from everything sharpen her axe.
That’s kind of where I am.
You’ve probably noticed that the content here has slowed down.
I’m in a very, very busy season of life right now with kids and school, learning to balance family, homemaking, ministry, and my online work (which is separate from my blog).
I have a lot of ideas that I’d like to share here, but not a lot of time to write.
And when I sit down to write, find a huge blockage inside – an inability to get the words out properly.
I’ve been here before – many times before. It’s common for writers to experience “writer’s block” – especially after seasons of intense writing or fatigue.
One of the things I’ve found that helps me overcome this, is to visit those Christians who have a great influence in my life.
So, between now and the first of the year, I’ll be visiting a lot of these people. I will share with you who they are and where you can find them.

And well done for taking the time to ease off where you need to, and to reprioritise – too many women don’t see the warning signs until we’ve hit burnout!
Hope you and you family have a wonderful Christmas time.

Thanks for this list. I follow many of them, too. Happy new year!
