Welcome back to our second and final week of this incredible study through Psalm 91. My hope and prayer is that trust in God’s powerful protection is beginning to grow in your heart.

On the surface, it seems that faith and trust are the same, but this is not always the case.

We can have faith in God without really trusting Him.

But, if you trust in God, your faith is strong. Trust in God enables us to take every situation, no matter how big or small, and leave it in His hands without trying to take it back.

We can be at peace even in the midst of a storm because we know He will not let it destroy us.

Do you have that kind of trust in God?

If not, my prayer is that this will be the first step in building solid trust in Almighty God to keep and protect you.

Here are the verses and questions for this week:

Monday – Psalm 91:9-10

Don’t forget that God is your refuge and shield. What do you need? Are you putting on your spiritual armor of God regularly, each day?

Tuesday – Psalm 91:11-12

What a beautiful promise: God commands His angels to protect you. Do you understand this blessing? Do you know that the enemy (the devil) is furious and waits for us to turn from God?

Wednesday – Psalm 91:13

God of Peace and Love will lead us in the most dangerous battles of our lives. Yes, God is faithful. How does that truth impact your faithfulness to Him? God gave to each man free will to choose his path in life. Do you know that God can’t protect us from our will? He is our Counsellor, but we make the choice. How do you direct your will?

Thursday – Psalm 91:14-15

15If we want to serve God, we follow Him. He protects us, because we love Him. He knows your name and wants you to glorify Him. How are you glorifying Him today?

Friday – Psalm 91:16

And here is our last question for our study of Psalm 91:

When we love God, we yield ourselves completely… He takes care of us, blesses our days and gives us Eternal life… Do you believe in God’s promise? In what way is God’s promise your strength and joy in your life?
