I love that you look at yourself and tell yourself you WILL be content. So much of life is a choice. If we do not let ourselves complain nor let our minds go there, we learn contentment.
Terrific post! Popping in from Time Warp Wife, to say hello!

I felt I had a lot to complain about a couple years ago when my husband left me with an 8 month old and no income or place to stay. Then I joined my church’s e-prayer team. I got some perspective that someone indeed always has it worse. As the requests flooded in, and my circumstances slowly became better, I realized that every trial we have is tailor made by God because He knows what we can handle.
Great post! Thank you for being so open about it all!

Yes! And you’re so right–I am personally trying to not even complain about the weather. Because it’s still complaining.
Thanks for the encouragement!
Thank you for popping over. Everything you said is so true!!!!
Yes, life is a choice….and when we choose to make those kind of decisions, instead of sitting idly by letting life just take its own course, we will grow and learn and become more like Jesus. 🙂 🙂 Love you, sis!!!
Great post! Something I am currently working on as well…. I am trying to embrace even the unpleasant things that come my way as gifts from God, guess I just need to get creative in figuring out how to unwrap what He’s trying to show me.
“Because when we choose to be content, when we choose to bring our imaginations under control, and when choose accept our lot in life as His good and perfect gift we are truly worshiping Him as He deserves to be worshiped – as Almighty, All-knowing, and All-powerful God who gives us only the very best!”
Amen!
Great Post!
