Good morning girls!

We starting today!

Today its Monday and we’re starting our new study “How to Share Your Faith”.

In this study we will

  • Go back to the basics and learn what salvation means and what it means to be saved.
  • Learn what we need to do as new Christians, and what to do after salvation
  • Learn how to share your faith… and what to do when people won’t listen to you.

During this study, we will not read large portions of the Bible, instead we’ll focus on smaller portions and most often one or two verses, and allow the God’s Word to speak to us personally so that we learn to recognize His voice and His will for us.

So, let’s get started…

Bible Verses and Questions of the Day:

Monday Romans 3:23

The Bible clearly says that no one is capable of achieving God’s standard in his own strength. We will always fail.

What does this fact say to you today and how does it change the way you relate to God?

Tuesday: Romans 6:23

Today we see two different pictures: payment and gift. One is earned the other is given freely.

Have you, aware or not, tried to be good and therefore tried to earn eternal life?

Wednesday: Romans 5:8, John 3:16

Often people see God as an evil dictator who expects them to be “good enough” to receive salvation. In these verses today we see that Jesus died while were still living in sin.

In what way do these verses change your view of God?

Thursday: Romans 10:9, 10:13

In today’s verses we see two actions: one is an inward one and the other outward. We believe in our heart (inward) but we declare with our mouth (outward).

Have you displayed both actions in your life?

Friday: Romans 5:1

Justification is a 5-syllable word that means just as if you’ve never sinned. Justification happens only through faith and only through Jesus Christ. He literally erases your sin and makes you a new creation – just as if you’ve never sinned!

What does this mean to you and how does it change the way you view yourself?

What does SOAK mean?

Good Morning Girls in the Word follows the SOAK method of Bible study that Courtney from Women Living Well and Good Morning Girls uses for her Bible studies.
