My husband and I were talking the other day about how important it is to seek God’s wisdom for our life, rather than making decisions based on logic.

I have heard many Christians mock the idea of seeking God for every little detail and decision.

However, the Bible tells us that God’s ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts – putting the Christian life at odd with logic-based decisions.

Have you ever noticed that many godly men and women in history made completely illogical decisions?

Even in Scripture we see that godly men and women made choices that went completely against the grain of our natural reasoning, and they were greatly rewarded.

Proverbs tells us not to lean on our own understanding – because our own understanding is faulty, flawed, and broken.

It needs to be regenerated, renewed – and there is only one way this happens.

We must meditate on God’s Word.
