I’ll never forget the night I sat in my favorite chair with my laptop and watched the movie War Room.
As usual, I was late to the party. Most of my friends had watched the movie already and I felt like anything I said about it by that point would be “old news”.
But it had such an impact on me and how I viewed my quiet time that I just couldn’t keep it to myself.
The next morning I got up and wandered around the house looking for even a corner of a room I could turn into my war room. Living in a 750 square-foot home didn’t really give us much space, and we don’t have closets. We have wardrobes.
It didn’t take long to come up empty on making a room or a wall into my war room.
Now, I suppose I could have just given up….chalked it up to another failed attempt at making my prayer life more significant and effective.
But I decided to create a war room alternative.
You can read about it in this postWhen You Don’t Have Room For a War Room :
That post was the launching pad for something very special here at A Little R & R….and for me as a blogger.
Suddenly, my mind was churning with ideas for what I could write about
- Bible Study
- Quiet Times
And the more I wrote about these topics, the more ideas came to mind.
Then early one morning I woke up after having dreamed that I was writing a blog post. Amazingly, I remembered what I’d written and rushed out to my living room to publish it.
That post became the inspiration for these prayer cards: 6 Amazing Prayer To Make Your Whole House a War Room
Several people commented on that post about how they want to print out the post so they could have the prayers with them as they clean their house.
Well, now you can have these pretty prayer cards to print out, cut and put in your pocket to take with you as you clean your house….or just to use during your daily prayer time as you pray over each room.
To download these, fill in the information below and an email will arrive with a link to download the pocket prayers. If you’re already a subscriber to my blog, you should have received them already.
If you haven’t received them, be sure to check your spam folder and add A Little R & R to your safe-senders list so you don’t miss any other goodies like this I may send you!
