30 Day Prayer Challenges

Have you watched the movie War Room?

I’ll never forget the night I watched it. I laughed, I wept, and I was challenged like never before to step up my prayer life!

A few days later I began reading the book Fervent by Priscilla Shirer, and was challenged to start writing out prayers and prayer strategies.

I’ll confess, this is very awkward for me, because I have never made a habit out of writing prayers. It has always felt awkward to write out my prayers, but as I began doing so I sensed how focused I became on what I was writing.

My heart was challenged.

My thoughts were centered.

My prayers became more strategic.

Hi, my name is Rosilind, and I am a Bible study leader and author.

I am a student of the Bible and hold an Associate’s degree in theology. I love God’s Word, and I enjoy teaching others how to have an effective quiet time, even as busy moms and homemakers.

As I have prepared for these prayer challenges, I have found exciting scriptures to target specific areas of our Christian walk.

Prayer is a powerful and often neglected weapon in our spiritual arsenal.

We can learn to pray powerful prayers. We can learn to use our war room to develop effective strategies for spiritual warfare, and by combining our prayers with Scripture, we deliver the enemy a death blow.

To use these workbooks, you will read the given verse or passage from the day and write out an observation about that verse or passage.

Then you will write out a prayer to the Lord, using the verse or passage for that day as a guide.
